OVERVIEW

Since 1985, Brewery City Pizza has been serving quality pizza and a family friendly dining experience to Olympia and Thurston County. They recently had a change of ownership and wanted to modernize the brand’s look and feel. They wanted the new brand to feel sophisticated, yet approachable in order to appeal to new customers and also keep existing customers coming back. This was a freelance for a real client.

Moodboard

PROBLEM

Brewery City Pizza required an updated brand identity to align with their newly renovated interiors. They needed a new look that communicated both quality pizza and an approachable family experience, while also evoking a sense of nostalgia to ensure their existing clientele felt welcome.

Logo Iterations

SOLUTION

Through three rounds of revisions, I developed over thirty logo iterations, progressively refining each version to better align with the client's vision for their new brand. I selected typography that is clean and modern, yet unpretentious, to evoke an authentic feel. The logo's design draws inspiration from the window arches of the old abandoned Olympia Brewing Company factory.
