OVERVIEW
DIY Magazine was a school project that was inspired by my love of handcrafted clothing. It shines a spotlight on small, independent fashion designers who customize their pieces and up-cycle secondhand garments. While there are many high-end fashion magazines, few focus on celebrating the creativity and innovation of independent, do-it-yourself designers.

PROBLEM
As fast fashion continues to pose significant environmental challenges,
I found a need to spotlight small-scale, independent artists who upcycle secondhand clothing. By highlighting these sustainable and unique practices, we can contribute to shifting the fashion industry towards a more thoughtful and innovative future.
